I stayed for 1 night in a Standard Queen Room. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely marble floor. Location was ideal for accessing local attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant and stylish experience 😊

Consider asking for a room with a bathtub upfront. Some rooms only have showers despite assurances.

The location was great, close to various subways with easy access to a convenience shop and a bakery. Manhattan district was worth exploring.

Excellent Location
Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. They keep hold of $100 dollars extra on your credit card incase of damage to the room, and do not inform you of this. It also takes 3 days to be refunded back onto the card. I also left a white dress behind in the room, which was given as a gift. When I emailed to ask if it had been found I recieved no reply. Also room cleaning services knock on the door far too early, around 8 in the morning.

Excellent location. Boutique style Cleanliness Very comfortable bed Free tea and coffee
Staff somewhat offhand, this being especially the experience of my daughter who arrived a day later than I did. Neither of us was offered champagne on arrival. The room was noisy. This was because it overlooked a narrow alley (which also made it very dark) in which there were 3 or 4 large extractor (?) units which operated day and night. We had to ask for hair dryer and shower cap - these ought to have been in the room. The bathroom was very small - a shelf would have been very useful.

The rooms were great; although small well decorated, great shower and comfortable bed. What else can you ask of NYC without paying $1000 a night!! The location was also great for Central Park, Uptown and some of the great sights of the city.
The staff were rude on check-in... I was disappointed having had such great service in all of the other hotels I have stayed in in the US.

We were there for city break, and had a very good time. It was beautifully maintained and compact room. The location was excellent and perfect - ease of access to Moma. The hotel was an easy base for enjoying a very very nice area.

The location and value cannot be beat. Located on 55th St, midway between 5th and 6th Avenues is a prime location. Even better, the hotel is beautiful and the room was rather big for a single.

I should give it at least a 3.5 in the luxury dept...the room was huge by Manhattan mid-range$ standards ($215), clean, quiet...GREAT Location...sweet staff, totally helpful...FREE, Working wi-fi!! I would stay here again and recommend to friends in a heartbeat!!
Cheaper rooms have no view but so what...beds were very comfy and crisp. One thing: no in room coffee but free in the lobby

Everything! The staff were the only friendly people I met in New York! The location was good, the price was excellent, and the hospitality was awesome!
They did not have ice buckets in the room or accessible microwaves.

perfect central spot for city exploration and dining options
The staff were friendly and offered great dining suggestions. Being just a short walk to the museum of modern art and rockefeller center made my weekend strolling through the city an absolute delight. While the room was comfy, it could use some updates, but the overall vibes were perfect for a weekend adventure.
